Everyone had their positives and negatives but to me Ken Pisi, George North, Jon Fisher, Samu Manoa and Courtney lawes really stood out.
Ken Pisi was hungry for a try or two. He has changed the way he plays, I'm not initially sure how or what he does differently but I like it. He seems easier as a player, like its natural.
George North. Well this bloke definitely had his rocket boots on ! 3 tries. No way can I complain about that. Sad to see North didn't get a Fourth. (Sorry for the lame rhyming)
Next, we move onto Jon Fisher, try on his debut ? Not bad going for a forward. Some people click with teams and some don't. Jon looks like he has played within the squad for years ! He's a big lad too, I hope to see some huge things from him in the future.
Do I really need to explain what Samu and Courtney did well ? let's just say their tackles.
Playing a game where the ref is not the best, is hard but the boys turned their anger energy into tackles and running power. Especially, when George North got tackled off the ball - this wasn't all Waynes Barnes' fault, the sideline ref should of picked it up too but we have learnt not to get George North angry otherwise the machine comes out to play!
Personally, everyone played a huge positive part in the win. 53-6 ? That score doesn't happen everyday. I truely can't believe we won by that much!
I'm so proud of what they achieved in this game. Preseason training is definitely paying off, so let's carry on like this?
Next game is London Wasps, Away. This, in the past, was always a hard game for us, but maybe that's about to all change.
We stormed into Franklins Gardens to say 'This is us , champions of England'
And the scored reflected this hugely.
